Welcome to my Home Page. My name is Arthur Venable and enclosed within these virtual walls, I have given you the opportunity to learn more about me and my family. I have many varied interests, and I would like to share them with you. One of my projects is learning more about the Linux OS. And an extension of that project is that I have tried to illustrate how it is possible to use Linux for your everyday computing tasks. I actually started this web page using Red Hat Linux v5.2 kernel 2.2.2 and Netscape Composer along with KDEdit. I have since created two separate versions of the page, one under Linux, and one under MS Windows 95 OSR2.1 with FrontPage 98 and Macromedia DreamWeaver 2. The pages look virtually identical, except for the use of different Java applets.
